Keypad

Usage

Use Keypad when the user enters telephone digits or DTMF tones. It renders a three-column grid of touch-sized overlay tiles with E.161 letter hints under digits 2–9 (the 0 key has no plus sub-label). The product owns the number field, call actions, and layout around the pad.

Supply keyLabels for every key so assistive tech says "star" and "pound" instead of symbols.
Set preventFocusOnPress when a nearby input should keep focus while the user taps keys.
Use disabled while dialing is blocked or the call service is down.
Keys are twelve tab stops in order (no roving tabindex). Enter and Space on a focused key fire onKeyPress once for that key.
